Andy, thank you - this is a really beautiful and touching remembrance of my uncle Peter. It is especially wonderful to hear his music and know that you have some recordings! I look forward to connecting with you in the neighborhood (will be there next week). Small thing - would you mind correcting the spelling of his last name? It's Trombly. Thank you so much - Calista
Please excuse me for the misspelling of yours and Peter's name. I corrected that just now. Thank you for the head's up. I am sorry. I look forward to meeting you when you are here. Please let me know when you are. Aloha.
Thank you, and no worries! I don't guess there was much occasion for something as formal as 'last names'.... It truly sounds like you and Peter had a wonderful and long-lasting friendship Andy. I am loving the photos you have added and am sharing with extended family. Many, many thanks for encouraging and including the recordings - it's a gift to hear him playing again. Planning to be around Monday - Thursday w/my aunt and some friends of Peter's to go through his things and clean up. Stop by and say hello anytime.
Such beautiful and touching music. Each cord is special in its own right, a real master of the craft. You were gifted something truly special with the cd’s he entrusted you with, music that will forever live on. My condolences once again Andy on such a profound loss of a truly great friend, and soul. You were blessed to have know Peter. 🌺🌺🌺
Hey Andy, hope you are doing well - it was great to meet you in person a few weeks back. We are hoping to track down the original of the first photo you included here (Peter with guitar) - do you have or could you share the original? And/or know who took it? We'd like to use it in a remembrance that is going in the North Shore News. Thank you!
Aloha! I’m pretty sure that Peter’s next door neighbor, Gary Hoffheimer, took the photo, which was at Zook’s wedding a couple years back. Zook (aka Bob Sulek) is married to Lindy Gaisor. I lifted the photo from her FB and only learned later it was a Hoffheimer photograph.
